About

“With a knack of adventure and discovering new ways to see the world – heat and cold, night and day, all aspects of how nature works are what I accommodate and meld within my work. I’ve learned that the same path taken time and time again can always sprout something new or undiscovered, to be found in a new light. Extreme heat, unforgivable bitter cold, I’ll be out there photographing. I’ve learned not to just simply take pictures of nature- but to view nature as how it should be: simple, pure, and awe.” – Tabby Torres

When Chicago based photographer Tabby Torres is not photographing nature during the day, she is walking outside at night capturing images of almost forgotten, randomly placed objects and experimental long exposure. With the inspiration of change from night and day, she manages to find something to photograph. Tabby is currently experimenting and working with an alternative photo process called Cyanotype and in the works of opening a clothe shop to sell her cyano-wear.
